Choza and Joe's burgers is managed by the same company with two distinct brands. I was hired for the two brands from naming and logo design to the interior, web and social media. I had the opportunity to really flex my design muscles for the two brands.

 

With the Choza restaurant having a bright and beachy theme and a nod to tequila. I chose bright fabrics for the booths, natural fibers for the lighting and tin materials you see in Mexico. But the back agave wallpaper is everyone's favorite.

BTW. I reupholstered the booths and chairs myself.

There is a Joe behind Joe's Burgers, and we have opened 4 Joe's around Oregon and Washington. The design for this burger joint comes from the memory of Joe's father taking him for a classic American hamburger on the weekends. The traditional colors of mustard, ketchup and tan from the bun helped direct me in shaping the brand. A modern mid century.
